As a complete side note on the real life front cause hey…better then grid right about now!

I had my very first parent/teacher conference for Ms. RB. Apparently she is no longer RB but Ms. Happytobetherethankyouverymuchtalktostrangersandembracekinderways. I’m pleased as punch as I have been having images of her hiding under her desk refusing to come out unless bribed with cookies. She’s writing backwards, that’s a bit of a concern. I did that and still do if I am over tired. I also stutter and have a hard time concentrating on reading which is odd considering how much I love to read. So if she turns out to be dyslexia, please blame me. tyvm!

Oldest had her doctors appointment today and there is a bit of a concern because she’s not growing. Well, she is. Just not much. Up until this year we always knew she would be short hitting 4.9 tops and were ok with this. As of right now, her growing has leveled off the past year and with already one hormone gland thingy affected (she has DI that is a result of LCH and takes DDAVP and yeah..I just wrote that for you to go “HUH?!”) there is some concern another might have been as well. We knew this, we just sorta stuck our heads in the sand and ignored it until, well now. Which is about right considering she will be twelve very soon and when we expected to have to deal with it. What does this mean, you ask? Not sure other then more testing that I can guarentee ya’ll she is not going to be happy about.

As for me? Nothing new on the RL..I’m still a lazy bum trying to keep my house clean while continuing the ongoing affair with both the milkman and mailman.
