I hadn’t read Eloh’s blog in awhile but Krsna was kind enough to point out that a new post was up so I hopped over to read. One of Eloh’s goals was more file sharing and I am glad to say…I DID IT! Or so I hope anyway. Now I didn’t do this because I want her to post more of her own files. I found two that I love to work with and are noted with the zips I will provide. I did it because she shared with us and because it’s the right thing to do and in all honesty….I probably should have done this by now without any prompting. I’m a bit slow on the uptake at times *sighs*.

Here is how it will work…download my file…do whatever you want with it. For the love of all things skins..make it better because by the skin of my teeth, I am not nearly all that good. I don’t care if you sell it, trash it, write “Misty SuX’s” all over it. What I do want to see and is in the release note that comes with the zipped file is to continue the tradition of giving back because these were given to us. Use my file for anything and by golly create at least one open sourse PSD thingymabobber..slap it up on media fire and post a link here, on your own blog or whatever. I won’t chase you down, I won’t stab you, bite you or otherwise harass you. I’m too busy for that nonsense…..but karma will bite you in the arse if you don’t follow tradition. Karma bites WAY harder then I do!

These skins are all the traditional skins from eloh with tweaks by me. Hue changes, added brush stuffage and whatever my sick little mind comes up with. I do sell them in world for 150L packs….why do I sell them? Because I am not rich and I like to shop in SL. Any money I make either by donations or from items that I sell go towards other creators to keep them creating. I buy things for Mystical that I have no clue how to make myself and can’t bug a friend for. I buy clothes from creators who know what the heck they are doing and I buy poses and I buy…buy…buy. Ok…yes..shopaholic here. Basically what it boils down to is either I get to have fun creating Mystical Serenity for all to enjoy or I get to shop and support other creators. Unless! I have a way to make money in world. I like having the best of both worlds…so that’s why I sell them. I simply cannot afford to give to creators and supply a fun place to explore, dance and enjoy.

In any case….although these are not the best by any means..they will give you some sort of idea what I have done and how I did it. Basic hue changes, add on’s ala brushes that are free for gimp through different sources, etc which will be listed as required, etc.

and PS: thank you reeko for making sure the zipped works! cause wow..how embarassing that would be!
