I went to go in world today and at first thought it was closed down, nah..they just never bothered to update the log in page with “hey, we are open for business” Wonder what this will do to the bottom line today? *Stands on the bar twiddling her thumbs*

While I was busy twiddling my thumbs, I checked out a few blogs that I still haven’t linked up and was mildly amused by Tenshi’s latest find over at Shopping Cart Disco. Read about it here:

Apparently she got her hands on a screen shot that showed a few different things that the worlds latest endeavor to trademark. Like Hippo’s and Grid. Good luck with that….because I want to see every child learning about hippo’s learn how to write that little tm…not to mention when they do math. Then I want to hear the teacher explain “Well class….those words are trademarked cause of this world called *insert name cause I won’t* that people live in and play in and do naughty things in that I’m not allowed to share with you. What fun that would be to explain! Talk about advertisement….I mean really! Who needs all the free press said grid received from hundreds of thousands of bloggers.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I understand why they are trying to comply with trademark/copyright laws and placing all that TOS. But let’s remain at least a tad realistic. Hippo’s? Come one….

UPDATE: Now I know why they left it showing down even though it’s up. It’s not bloody fixed…can’t rez, can’t tp…you know….the standard fun times we have during coffee hour…so yeah..log in…just don’t try to go anywhere. Unless it’s just izzy, which also would not surprise me!
